Motley Shoe

My favorite shoes for the new season are totally freaking awesome! Observe:

What are you gonna wear this season? The weather will be nice soon which means outdoor shows, getting back on the bike, and springtime dates in the park (or the bar, whatever floats your stomach).
80%20 continues to make me swoon. The name of these beauties you ask, Motley Shoe. I wouldn't mind 'dancing on glass' in these!
80%20 makes my life pretty hard. These are adorable in every way, they're called 'Cork and Mindy'. I rest my case.

Speaking of adorable:
This little number is available at Modcloth (as are all things sweet).

This dress would look great with a bright brass necklace layered over it.

A pencil skirt in these colors will rot your teeth. Get it!

These are available at IMHandmade...for now. Come on, add a little sparkle to your wardrobe.

But until it gets warm enough to wander out of the house in these items (or if you cant wait, like me). Try layering spring dresses over tights or thigh high socks, and adding a cardigan or a blazer to complete your look. I especially like the studded blazer because it will balance all the feminine floral prints by adding a harder edge to your look.
Don't forget to shield your eyes from those unforgiving rays. Go with classic shades.

Now you just have to decide where to go, and who to go with?

Jewel Me! Jewelry!

Some new pieces of jewelry I've been working on:

This is one of my favorite, and best selling, pieces. I like how the bow is set into the chain so that it floats around your collar bone. It's like a really sophisticated charm necklace with a locket.

I like these Art Deco-ish pieces. They were made using dies from the early 1900s.

I love the color of this bead. It's Amazonite, the color reminds me of the sea. Very calming and perfect for Spring and Summer with a lower cut top.

This one is the same stamping, but the bead is painted plastic instead of Amazonite.

These Lily pendants each have tiny faceted beads to add some sparkle.

Sticking with the art deco flower theme, I thought these stampings would make great earrings. Simple yet ornate.

And these...these I love.

All of the jewelry is brass so it will patina nicely.

Get in The Sunlight

Why I cannot wait for Spring:

1. Fantastic vintage dresses make my day, and others'.

2. Super cool tee shirts can be seen; no more hiding them under layers of sweatshirts and jackets.
3. Bright colors!!!4. Free the feet! Free the feet!

5. Spring Cleaning means out with the old, in with the...old looking. Vintage inspired additions can really liven up your digs.

6. And after you've cleaned off the coffee table, you can get a new coffee table book!
